Subject: Okay, there is ONE Claire-and-Bree episode that felt real to me: In "Voyager" where infant Bree is having a BAD DAY; the heater has quit in the dead of winter; and Claire has to cook a dinner for Frank's boss and wife, Professor Hinchcliffe. Claire is holding Bree and thinking of Jamie, her tears falling on Brianna's red baby fuzz. That image really sticks with me. Then, many spit-ups and diaper changes later, Frank comes home complaining that Claire hasn't "Fixed Herself Up" for the dinner party! A-a-a-r-r-r-g-h! Too bad Claire didn't smash that wine bottle over his head before storming out. Anyway, that's the only moment that relationship (C&B) felt authentic to me.
In reply to: Rollaine 's message, "Funny you say that about Bree and Claire, Lemora. I feel the same about Willie-nothing about him makes me ever see him as Jamie's son. I guess it has to do with my dislike of the whole Geneva thing. I found it a forced, way too heavy-handed contrived plotline. So hence, I just can't see Willie like that-not "authentic" as you say! JMHO." on 11:29:10 05/07/10 Fri

[> [> [> [> Very real...Frank was a real charmer. Never liked him-even before Jamie enters the picture and never saw him as anything but selfish. But, this is about Mother moments, so we can leave Frank out :-). At least you have one. I find no authenticity about WIllie as Jamie's son at all-not even one moment... -- Rollaine, 14:20:42 05/11/10 Tue
