I also wanted more from this scene. Claire had time to about their reunion while Jamie was so shocked. What if he had been married with kids? Would she have barged in on them? I would have done more observing, made more inquiries and sent him a note stating what inn I could be found in to to give him time to digest the surprise. -- Broch Talk
