Subject: yes, that's true and especially if they had been bought by horrible people, but while living during the time of slaver, Phaedre's life was comparably "good." But the fact that Ulysses, a slave himself, would sell her-to protect his white mistress and self when she hadn't done anything wrong (in my eyes) well, that burns me up. She's suffering for Jo's safetly here.
