I was pregnant, too, the first time I read Outlander! That boy is 17 now and he rolls his eyes when he sees me reading any of the books because he knows the story. Although I had intended to name a boy "James" for a number of reasons, he became Jamie by nickname after reading Outlander. His older sisters tease him about it and that's why he rolls his eyes. Thankfully, my DH can corroborate my intention to name him after my brother even before I read the book, otherwise he might not be speaking to me. Your description of your emotions and your statement about being able to read the books over and over and still find something new is the same for me, too. Your vocabulary was just fine!
