Bit of a long story here, I live in Wilmington, NC (never dreamed when I started reading the books in 1997, that Wilmington, NC would be in the books, what a wonderful surprise for me), but that's not why I am writing. My sister lives in Massachusetts and has cancer---when diagnosed last October, I introduced her to the Outlander and ordered up all the books to be waiting for her when she arrived home from the hospital. She has had a rough year chemo, no cure, but perhaps buying some time. Long story short, she went crazy over the books and has read each one at least 4 times, she swears she learns something new each time. I am planning to take her on the Outlander 2007 tour (I know it was meant to be when I just searched on a whim and found the tour). Any information you can provide that can make this truly the most remarkable experience for her (us) will be greatly appreciated. She has dire financial circumstances and I am planning to fund the trip for both of us (we are in our 60's, I am a year and a half older than she) and we will have possibly another friend who loves the books and wants to join us.
