Some research as started after discussion at an international medical conference on why was the head of a penis larger than the shaft. The Americans, after a couple of years and $200,000 announced that it was for the pleasure of the man while having sex.
The French much put out by not having been deferred to as the authority on all things sexual started their own study. Three years later and $300,000 announced it was for the pleasure of both men and women while having sex.

The Aussies decided to get in on this too and after five weeks and a couple of cartons of beer announced it was so that a man 's hand wouldn't slip off and hit him on the head!!!
