Subject: Happy Birthday Diana! I Wish You a Wonderful Year, Filled With All That You Desire.

What can I say that has not yet been expressed by the wonderful people ahead of me? I am greatful in the extreme that you decided to share the world of Jamie and Claire with us, rather than just keeping them to yourself for practice! I was thrilled to meet you in Surrey this past fall and I hope that the sweatshirt from Jim Harley's Diner fit someone in your family. Once Again, Thank you for many hours of wonderful reading, hours of listening to tapes for company on my commute, the people I have met both real and fictional as a result of your writing, and the crazy looks I get from people as I try to encourage others to read your books!

This is YOUR day, enjoy it to the fullest extent possible!
