Subject: HAPPY BIRTHDAY FROM WISCONSIN

It's truly an honor to be able to wish you the happiest of birthdays, Diana....'cause you've made me the happiest of lassies since I got my wee hands on The Books.

Meeting you for the first time in Surrey last October was priceless. Hearing you read from FC was a truly memorable experience for me. I have a picture that was taken of the two of us proudly displayed on my bookshelf right next to my signed copies of The Books.

Thank you for all the wonderful hours of enjoyment I've spent reading (and re-reading) The Books. I'm also very grateful to you for giving me all these exceptional friends here at Lallybroch. My life is richer because of them.
