First of all, I'm glad you're feeling better!

Your characters are so real, I love how they interact. Storie is a new character to me (I think, I could be forgetting something) but I like her no-bullshit way of looking at things. She knows what she wants and has plans in place, but she can go with the flow enough to take a better thing when it comes along.

Until I realized Storie was drinking apple juice. *G*

So...in the first bit, I have to mention the ease at which I could picture the scene and have to admit that I could feel the mood and the honesty that came out because of this chance meeting. The real world indeed.

In the second part, I'm torn and I think part of my problem is because I don't know these characters very well yet. You see, Emma said she'd keep her trap shut and then obviously didn't and I just don't know what to make of that. Granted, in this case all turned out well, so I'm happy with it, but it does make me wonder, if that makes any sense.

Glad you're feeling better and are on the mend! Now you can post more of this story! Especially bits like the next one. *hint* *hint*
