Subject: I don't see a triangle here at all (m)
In reply to: e_mc2 's message, "Teenage love triangle? I need perspective" on 06:41:19 04/30/03 Wed

It would be a triangle if the older brother had feelings for and was pursing the 17 year old girl. He isn't. He's just under the mistaken impression that dating someone is like a dog peeing on a tree -- once you date them, they become your "territory" forever.

If the 16 year old and the 17 year old wish to date, it's just none of his business. Period. And unless he would like to put *his* dating choices to family and community committee for prior approval, he needs to shut up.

And if he's all fired up on the subject of "family loyality" he can practice what he preaches but stopping all the negative chatter he's been having about his brother on this subject with everyone.
