Subject: New Deaf Dog

I run a boxer rescue and have owned a deaf boxer in the past. Max went to the bridge in January.
Now a new deaf boy has come to our rescue and I have poured myself into training him.
Harley is 4 years old and on the smaller side, very smart and easy to train (or am I just smarter than I was 5 years ago when I got Max?)
I have fallen totally in love with Harley and now cannot imagine my life without him in it.
I am still going back and forth on the idea of just adopting him. To me, this boy is one in a million.
One question though, what is an easy reward marker for a deaf dog? I do not want to use the OK sign because I use that with him for a release from a sit stay or down stay or some other command.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
