Hi Katie,

Congrats on the new addition to your family! Sounds like you're getting some good education about how to train your new dog.

As far as the Dogo growling at the chainsaw, he could have felt a vibration we are not aware of. Chainsaws put out quite a loud sound, and sound does cause vibrations. He could have "felt" the chainsaw. And then again, maybe he did hear something.

I'd like to offer a shamless brag to everyone. My deaf Sheltie, Jericho, was in a run-off this evening for High-in-Trial at a Rally Obedience Trial. He tied for High-in-Trial, which means his score beat out all the other dogs in all the other classes. Unfortunately, he lost the run-off for the High-in-Trial due to my error. I'm still kicking myself for that. What a great little dog! He also won 1st and 2nd places for the two runs he had.

Just a shameless brag that shows what our deaf babies can do!
