I'm sorry to hear about your BC. While this may seem very devastating, remember the dogs adjust so well to not having hearing. You will still have a loving dog, and you'll be amazed at how well he does without hearing. You will have to make a few adjustments, but you'll learn what to do quickly.

It is frustrating to do what the vet tells you and then wind up with such a side-effect. Maybe the hearing will improve.

Where I live, the vets work closely with the nearest vet college as well. It's a very good insitution, and they give wonderful, cutting-edge care there.

Let us know how things turn out.
