Subject: I loved it... of course

I'll post a longer evaluation later - right now I'm just busy feeling stuff.
So I definitely cried through every single one of the flashbacks and commercial breaks because we're losing JAG. Having been 12 when I first started watching JAG, it actually did play a part in shaping my life. I used to get picked on, but Mac made me want to stand up for myself. And Harm and Mac made me believe in love after my parents divorced.

After JAG I was crying - but I couldn't decide happy or sad. Sad that it's leaving... left... but ECSTATICALLY (sp?) HAPPY ABOUT THE ENDING!!!!

So who else flipped coins right after the show to see where they'd end up? I got heads - London.

I also went over to my best friend's house which is across the street crying and telling her about it because she knows JAG too, she reads my fanfiction and listens to me ramble. She loves it too. Ten o clock at night, I come over to her house crying over a TV show and she understands. LOL.

In the end I decided on happy. THEY ARE GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!! And quite frankly I don't CARE where, did you SEE them kissing? WOW I sure did get butterflies and chills. It was like a culmination of everything that has been building for nine years - it was like they finally opened up and let the truth out all in one moment. And then at the end, did you see her snuggle into his side, did you see them kiss as a greeting, did you see them TELL EVERYONE THAT THEY ARE ENGAGED?!
I don't think I've been happier since I found out I was going to my first JAG fanfest east!

Anyone wants to join me I'm in the JAG chat in the drop down menu above.
Katie

Hey guys, I'm brand new to the group, but been with JAG since the beginning. And yes, I'm totally obsessed with the show and I'm a definite shipper!!! I just can't believe it's over! Yeah, I know the feeling, I don't know what to feel, happy or sad? But oh yes, finally, after 9 years together, Mac and Harm are finally going to get married! Yeah, it was totally cool seeing them together at the end, kissing and huging and just being together. Yeah, I would have liked to seen AJ, Tiner, and Gunny too. Hopefully, and this may be a long shot, we can get a JAG tv/movie of where Mac and Harm ended up, wedding, etc. Oh, and I loved the flashbacks, all my favorites! Well, I think I'm going to go watch the episode again...and again...and again. Thanks for 10 awesome years JAG!!!!

[> Finally what All Shippers wanted! -- HM, 21:32:24 04/29/05 Fri

Ok, this episode was nine years in the making and we only got FIVE minutes of Harm and Mac!!! Come on, there was way too much other stuff in this episode like Mikey and Vukovich- who cared about them!! Not me! However disappointed I was at the extraneous story line, I got over it when I Harm and Mac kissed!!

Why oh why couldn't we just have 2-3 more episodes building up to this, their engagement or at least post engagement... Oh well, an engagement is better than nothing.

I am still in shock that my favorite show, a show which inspired me to think about becoming a JAG is off there air!!

Where will I get my shipper fix now.

Hope other shippers got some satisfaction with the five minute ending- they made a cute couple.

[> [> [> Katie, I have been watching since I was 12 too (we have something in common). I am now 19, and my first episode I ever saw was..in coincidence...Yeah Baby. In fact, it was my oldest brother who got us all hooked, but my family eventually fell out of it, all except me. This year of JAG has meant alot to me because it helped me through my roughest year ever...my first year of college (more inside) -- MacMackenzie, 22:34:29 04/29/05 Fri

Alot of things have happened to me since last summer. I've grown up alot and experience alot of changes in my life, but I will always remain faithful to JAG. I will miss it terribly come fall, but perhaps this will make me start watching other shows that are good too. I don't think no other military show will ever be as successful as JAG, and I am so proud to say that I have been there through it all (except the first two years and they stunk anyways, no wonder it got cancelled). I know I will never forget Harm and Mac, even when I am 30, I will still look back and remember how much I enjoyed it. I for sure know the actors have created such close bonds (CB and DJE), maybe in the future we can have a JAG movie, maybe some producers out there will see alot of potential in it. Perhaps in the future I can finish some of the fanfic I started three years ago and never got to finish. I know I will certainly write about this episode, too tempting!!! For me, DPB did a good job, but not enough Harm and Mac. I am glad that he did not yank the carpet out from under us at the last minute.

Anyways, just my two cents (not that it's worth much hahaha). You oughta read my post up above, I'm telling you I think we're twins *wink*!!! I think I get as excited and scream about it as much as you do (much to my parent's disappointment, but htey just don't understand). My dad really enjoyed the episode.
