Subject: Embassy Question

Does anyone else find that if you turn the closed captioning on while watching Embassy, the newscaster's words don't match what's being printed? I know my copy is a syndicated one from History Channel, so maybe that has something to do with it, but it seemed really bizarre. Any idea why that is?

[> That isn't all that uncommon. I don't know if it's because the captions are based on a script that got edited or changed during filming or if it's due to faulty transcription, but I have noticed it on a lot of shows. -- Ann, 00:55:36 12/18/06 Mon

[> [> I know the transcription on Counterstrike was always very well done with no errors, but NCIS has had a few weird problems this year too. I think the best was Jenny saying "He's checking his reflection in the glass," and the closed captioning cut out the "gl" in glass. -- Meg, 15:08:47 01/02/07 Tue
