No. I said in my message this is not an example to be used. Janeway was prepared to turn the ship around in order to stay married. And as you clearly pointed out, they would have never made it in time to make a difference. You made the gesture symbolic. So much hurt.

Again, it was the line between having a captain that would sacrifice her wife for the good of the ship (Starfleet)that you never reconciled with Kathryn Janeway. Is that sacrifice ALWAYS acceptable? Is Captain Janeway the ONLY hat Kathryn can wear. Are the only laws governing a soldier the ones handed in a manual.

You've answered those questions with a resounding, YES.

You drilled emotions for the exact meaning with the skill of a surgeon holding a fine-honed instrument. Maybe Janeway deserved a chisel held in the fashion of a Michelangelo tapping away at a fine piece of marble.

But you're not continuing with the story. And the last frame stays forever.
