Hi, nice to hear you're doing good. Its strange to hear you talk about all those shows. I haven't seen any of it. That's Belgian Tv for ya, they don't air anything here but the really big shows, like Lost or 24. They haven't even shown the last two season of Enterprise here, just to give an example.

Now i'm just downloading whatever looks interesting. I was wondering if you've followed Battlestar Galactica. Wow, the last season is awesome. And the girls in it are a sight to behold. This show is absolutely awesome, and some great subtext turned reality in it to boot. We all love the lovely Michelle Forbes, but to see her in a relationship with Tricia Helfer,... Sizzle. If you ever feel like you wanna write scifi fanfic other than Trek. BSG might be a good way to go.

Their fanfic community could use more talented writers like you.

I did download all the eps of Battlestar Gallactica last fall and watched them all. While I was watching, I found them fairly entertaining. The guy who did this, Ron Moore, is the same guy who did Deep Space Nine, which I still think is the best Trek ever, and I can see recurring themes in BG that he toyed with in DS9, with religion and war and the like. The difference is that DS9 had light episodes and comedy and positive stuff that balanced out the rest which made it a more entertaining series. To me, Battlestar Gallactica is so unrelentingly bleak and depressing. I watched the first couple of eps this season but just didn't feel the need to watch the next few I downloaded. I ended up deleting them without watching them (as opposed to eps of shows I really like which I watch as soon as I can). To me, that tells me I'm just not into the show. He's failed to engage my interest in any of the characters or the situation. Which is too bad, because it is very well written and well acted.

Gina
