In November it's pretty cold, it can rain and can be windy -not nice at all most days! As Winter gets nearer the weather gets worse (all the above), there can be sleet and sometimes it hails also occasionally it can snow. It's also very cold and can be icy. I'd say that it starts getting warmer at Spring time in March. I didn't see last episodes so I'm sorry I can't answer the clothes question but I'm sure someone else can.

In the final episode of the third series, when they snog outside Chix, there's no way they would be wearing those clothes and not be cold! It's cold and it rains in November. Scarves and gloves are usually out. It's all grey and horrible. When the sun does come out, it is usually quite a cold day. Having said that, it has been unusually mild recently - I went to work this morning without a jacket.
