Oh yeah. I forget with the Canadian dollar exchange, they really kill the fans, don't they? *Grrrr* $3 is out of line, but $5?! *cringe* Might as well go read fanfic (after all half of today's writers seemingly troll the sites and steal the ideas anyway, and it's free...).

I'd suggest maybe going to trades like I have, but they're still pretty exorbantly priced.

As for catching you up, the last 2-3 years of WW plot:

Diana murders Maxwell Lord because he had enthralled Superman and the only way to win the fight was either try to kill Supes or kill Maxwell. She becomes a fugitive and the JLA splits up over mistrust between Supes, Bats and her. She stops being WW again and dons the white spy jumpsuit for a while as Diana Prince while Donna Troy takes up the role of WW, until Donna gets cpatured and beat up by a cadre of WW villains with heightened powers, so Diana rescues Donna and takes back the role. The JLA gets reformed. And now I think the Amazonian nation has declared war on the rest of the DCU again or something, because the government has captured Diana and are torturing her to get intel to develop a death ray the Amazons designed from their "purple ray" (Healing ray?). Uh huh. Yeeeah. Whatever. Man, do I miss the George Perez era. It may not have been perfect, but at least it was readable. *Chuckles*

You ought to maybe team up with Davey again and write some decent WW and submit to DC. One of the new trends in comics these days is hiring published novelists to write them. Maybe now that you are one, they'll actually give you the time of day. Of course, I must warn you - writing for DC or Marvel these days is like writing Round Robin stories with ten other writers and five editors all fussing about you. Micromanaged to the Nth power. As bad as the books are, I often am amazed they come out as 'good' as they are, given all the different fingerprints all over things.
