Subject: An interesting discovery about Ro Laren

I just was looking up something on StarTrek.com and found the following in the report on Ro Laren:

It was reported her greatest sense of regret for that decision was in reneging on the trust Captain Picard had shown in her.<\i>

It seems to me the Chakotay would have recognized Ro when she tried to join his resistance cell... Of course that's just trivia really. I Thought you might find it interesting.

Yeah, but they made that up long after what I had written, and secondly, it's not really connon, it's just something they put on the website. It's not even in the encyclopedia, nor was it ever indicated in the shows. So I guess it's left to literary lisence. Of course, Chakotay doesn't have the brains to recognize her own mother, let alone someone skilled in Advanced Tactical Training. And c'mon, who are they trying to kid? When has Chakotay ever indicated a grasp on tactical training, let alone be someone who could teach it? And I'm kind to the character generally. Heh.

Ahhh. Well, like I said it was just an observation. It does not really matter. I love your stories regardless of how "cannon" or not they are. Because obviously the later episodes of JB are non-cannon.
