Subject: BAD GIRLS SEQUEL

I hope you are still planning on posting a few new chapter of your Bad Girls series thsi summer. I'm anxiously looking forward to it. Your N/H stories are the best of any I have ever read. You really capture the spirit and love of those two and I most like the way that they have matured and are able to talk more freely as their love has grown. I know you said there will never be any little rugrats (And I get that), but now that England has modified its marriage laws, could we perhaps see a wedding in the future? Whatever you choose to write,I'm sure it will be as incredible as what you have already written.

I agree wholeheartedly.. I eventually read 'Determined to Fail' last night. I had been putting it off for weeks because I knew that once I'd read it there was nothing more :(. I couldn't wait any longer though! Your stories are amazing, so believable.. I can honestly picture Simone and Mandana acting out these scenes, it's as if Maureen Chadwick wrote it herself! And like Jerri, I really love they way they have progressed and how much they care about each other. You've thought of everything, it's incredible.

I can't thank you enough for writing these stories, I've wanted to know for so long what happened to Helen and Nikki afterwards and I just think your perception is spot on! I really hope your planning on writing more, I'm dying to know what else is in store for our favourite couple!

Ditto everything they said!! Nobody has brought Nikki and Helen to life like you have. (Even the supporting characters are spot on.) I can actually hear Simone and Mandana saying the lines you've written. Please keep the story going. After the end of series 3 I was so sad to think we would never see these two remarkable people again....but you have fully fleshed out their story and it is so wonderful to experience their continuing relationship. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with all of us.

Glad you enjoyed them. I envision there being twelve stories in the series to cover the rest of the Bad Girls run. I, at least, want to get Helen and Nikki's reaction to Fenner's incarceration, then freedom, then subsequent murder as well as how the murder investigation played out. I could even see Helen and Nikki being questioned by the police because they might have motive and knowlege of the prison would give them access to the scene, though they'd be quickly dismissed as suspects. My friend sent me series five and six to watch to see how it played out and then I'll hopefully get seven and eight later.

OOooh, I can't wait. I always wished that they would have made a TV movie or something that featured Nikki and Helen, but its probably as well they didn't. Might have screwed it up. Your stories are the next best thing. A continuation, but also a beautifully written one at that.
I've never watched all of the seasons, just bits and pieces here and there. Still loved Yvonne and the Julies. My one regret about the TV show was no later mention of our girls. I would have loved to have seen someone like the Julies or Karen Betts find out about Nikki and Helen. But just for the "holy shit" aspect of it..LOL

You will defintely need 7 & 8 to see how that all shakes out. Six ends at the beginning of that storyline. Can't wait to see how you continue this series!

It's great you have someone who can send you stuff..... I ended up buying a region-less dvd player so I could watch these(got the region 2 dvd's from amazon uk), I bought 5 and 6 together, but was heartbroken with Yvonne's story so I decided I could wait for 7 & 8. I am sure one day they will eventually show them on LOGO...... and I guess HBO has bought the rights to create the American version..... once again we come marching in to ruin perfectly good british tv.

Oh, yeah, I'm sort of dreading what they come up with for Bad Girls. Though at least it's HBO rather than a mainstream network. Recently I had the chance to watch the two series of Life on Mars and the first series of Ashes to Ashes, and loved them both. I shudder to think how ABC is doing Life on Mars this fall. I mean, there was just stuff that you can get away with on British tv that can't be done on American television and without that dry, British humor, the show just doesn't work. Plus, the actor who plays Glen transcends the character, so that somehow, he's charming despite his many and varied flaws. I doubt the new 'Gene' will be able to do that.

i am in complete agreement about your comments and yes Gene does rock. Being english myself i see your points, and could not agree more. Now this wonderful series of Bad Girls fiction is just crying out to be carried on with. Miss Dart has created the best TV related fiction on the web and deserves all the credit she can get. I cant wait for her new episodes so i have started rereading them all.

This is the best news I've heard in ages!! I love your After Larkhall series and dared not hope for more, so I'm thrilled to read this post. Your writing is spot on: I love how you so deftly integrate Helen and Nikki's experiences and expressions from Series 1-3; how you have developed an entirely plausible and believable story; how these two characters practically come to life because of the depth you give them; how the secondary characters have full treatment as well. Your writing fills a void left by the end of their on-screen story. Such a pleasure to read. Thank you for sharing your creativity and talents! I look forward to reading more installments - and will happily re-read (again, and again) chapters 1-6 in the interim. I'm definitely a fan! Thank you!

First, though, I'm finishing the next two installments of Millennium. I was having a lot of difficulty writing #19, but then I just relaxed this past week and let the characters start telling me the story. It suddenly starting a lot quicker. It meant ripping out whole bits and replacing them but that's how it works sometimes. I really hope to have #19 finished soon. And I'm very excited about twenty. I can't wait to get to it.

I am absolutely delighted that there will be at least six more Nikki/Helen continuations. I have never enjoyed fanfic as much as I have enjoyed your spot-on characterizations. Totally beliveable. On several occassions, I have re-read the lot...starting with the stand-alone story, and have enjoyed them all as if it were the first time around. Thank you again...

Thank you for these stories. I've only recently stumbled upon Bad Girls and I was instantly taken with the N/H storyline. There characters have such depth, and there are so many complications. Thanks for continuing the story and not making it sooo unrealistic as some are in the habit of doing. Can't wait to see more.

I,too, recently discovered Bad Girls on the LOGO channel in the States. After watching series 1-3, I agree that your writing truly captures the spirit and love of Nikki and Helen. Before I found this site, I hoped more of their stories were in store for us--I thought of suggesting that you address Nikki's family, though I have to admit I hope the outcome isn't possitive for her, but teaches us that not everyone accepts their lifestyle. Can't wait for the next installments of Nikki & Helen's lives. You are a truly gifted writer.
