That's Radclyffe's publishing company, and all the stuff they have there is good. They publish Gun Brooke's novels, which someone already mentioned. And if you're not absolutely set on SF, but want to try modern fiction, and you have never read any of Radclyffe's novels, just pick any of them, they're outstanding. Oh yeah, they also publish some other author there. What was her name? Oh yeah, Gina Dartt.

I heartily agree with Michelle's endorsement of Rad. In the sci-fi realm, I'd say that Jane Fletcher is the best I've found. She's at Bold Stroks, too.

Amazon is a good place to search - I suggest searching on a known lesbian sci-fi book and then check out the reader lists. Also search for the Lambda Rising Literary book award list. Some good titles there from previous years. There are sci-fi & fantasy books with lesbian main characters and very well known lesbian sci-fi/fantasy writers. I also have read all of the sci-fi/fantasy genre at BoldStrokes and I would recommend them.

My favs: Marion Zimmer Bradley - the Darkover Trilogy - the combined three books on the Amazons of Darkover (Saga of the Renunciates).

The two Chris Anne Wolfe "Aggar" titles. Tragically she passed away of cancer at a young age. Her books are treasures. I have re-read them several times.

Jane Fletcher - I very much enjoyed the Lyremouth Chronicles - all of them. And a newcomer L-J Baker. Her book Broken Wings is a fun read!

This should keep you quite busy. :)

And buy Gina's books too, they are wonderful. Can you tell that I have read sci-fi for a *long* time? ;)
