Subject: Just Read "Unexpected Ties"

While I am very sad to read that Gina will be away from the computer for a while and the reasons behind that desicion, I wanted to share with the group that I read "Unexpected Ties" and want to reccommend it to all of Gina's fans. It's a pretty fast read, it focuses more on Kate & Nicki's relationship (even though there's a murder to solve) and I hope there will be a sequel.

I just finished 'Unexpected Ties" and thoroughly enjoyed it. The mystery while fun is secondary to the plotline of the deepening relationship between Nikki and Kate and more insight into the characters and their relationship with their families. Very nicely done.

Loved "Unexpected Ties." Devoured it. Loved Nikki's and Kate's perspectives on both their family ties, and particularly how from outside you can possibly see ways the one inside can't. And the support these two give each other.

As for the mystery, top notch. I didn't catch it until the principles did, but when it came out, oh boy, did it all fall into place. All the clues were right there. Great technical job, Gina.

Seeing them move in together at the end was sweet, and the whole thing just felt right.

I subscribe to The Lambda Book Report, a quaterly publication. On page 23, along with Gerri Hill, Ali Vali, & VB Cay, is one Gina L. Dartt and a wonderful review of Unexpected Sparks!
