Subject: Bilgy, as I recall, having Duquesne's floor transported to the Arena for use during the tournament was a choice, not a necessity. It was Mr. Colleary's attempt to give the Duquesne brand a little extra publicity. Of course, having your name on the floor and watching others walk on it doesn't present the best image ...
In reply to: Bilgy 's message, "Does anybody know if the new arena will have its own basketball floor? During the NCAA Regionals that were held at Mellon, the Duquesne floor was taken there to be played on. Whatever happened to the Civic Arena's original floor? Anyway, if the new arena needs a floor, the employees of Duquesne University will do a materful job of taking the floor "up the hill"." on Monday, September 21, 03:06:54pm

  • I heard there may be Dukes and visitors dressing rooms in the Consol Center. Anybody else? (NT) -- SKIDDYBALL, Monday, September 21, 09:26:47pm
