Before people accuse me of not being proud of DU, let me say this. We hosted before. We got little to no benefit from doing it. We now find out we can't play at the site. I am all for civic pride once we have some NCAA appearances under our belts. But to spend resources on this that could be better spent on any one of the other varsity sports is foolish to me. Not sure why this is a bad thing, what would be done for student-athletes in lieu of hosting ? DU ticket holders get to see great teams come here and play. When we're in a position to be a top 4 protected seed every year (where they would try to accomodate based on geography) then we can be mad at not being able to play here. We're a long way from that.   - I am imagine it takes a lot of staff time and effort. I don't know a dollar figure and neither do you. I am not interested in getting into an argument. I rather see the name Duquesne in the NCAA tournament in any sport before civic pride and our name on the floor.
