Wow! Today's P-G has a brief article on page D-10 of the Sports Sec. about AJAX & the Pacers. This past week the P-G knocked itself out with several 1st page stories making incorrect predictions of 1st round NBA draft selection for Pitt's Blair & Young. While these players certainly merited coverage, but not to the exclusion or near-exclusion of a player from another Pgh. college. As posted here previously, the Trib gives the Dukes more equitable and in depth coverage. Winning the A-10, getting to the NCAA tournie, & beating Pitt may be the only way to consistently get the P-G's attention. -- Duquesne Dukes Basketball Forum

Both Blair and Young, though wonderful college players, are under sized for the positions they will play. In the League you need the size and talent thus the 2nd round status. - Blair's knees are a big question mark, and the main reason he slipped so far. The Spurs are a good spot for him, and if his knack for rebounding translates to the next level, he could be a good role player. Sam Young and Aaron Jackson are similar in that they are two of the hardest working guys I've seen in a long time.       - I don't have any hate towards this Pitt group. (I still want to beat the crap out of them). I haven't forgotten Jamie visiting RE when he was sick, and the current group of Pitt guys seem to be quite friendly with our boys. I even think AJax and Blair were training together down in Florida.
