Allen, I've had some fun with mine, but nothing the least bit radical - though occasionally stupid. The problem I've had with my 04 2WD 4 cylinder 5 speed is though it's geared too low for highway driving, it's still too high geared for off road work. Most of what I do is 'crawling' around my rural neighborhood, where a low-range 4WD would just keep going, once my tires load-up in 1st it's nearly over. Though I've never gotten 'too stuck,' it is embarrassing... cause it looks like a 4WD!

I've always had my kids in there too … reminds me of stunts my Dad would pull I guess..? It also reminds me of a VW Beatle I once owned, good rear wheel traction with the weight back there, though I'd also get it stuck...

Recently spinning my way off some local snow I over shot the road (they set so high you lose sight of it fast!) and pounded through a deep ditch as I was making a tight Right. I cringed, then cussed -- but no damage - and it climbed out with ease.

The high ground clearance, deep wheel wells, tight turning radius, real-truck suspension, and that "posi-track" rear end has been very impressive! The problem is… it's not a 4WD, though it's very tempting to treat it like one!
