It's not a complete answer of course, and could never replace oil, because there isn't enough vegatable matter on Earth to get the job done.

But still, the idea of using excess cooking oil to get where you are going is pretty neat.

Around the Globe there must be some diesel powered Nissan SUVs that could be converted, no? Anyone have any pics to share of one that has already been converted?
