Subject: H/D Sideplate Problems

 I've just fitted a H/D sideplate to my 1500 gearbox and I am having trouble setting the axle tube clearance. So far I have fitted six 0.20mm gaskets and the axle tube still does not move freely. On the other side (stock sideplate) I've used only two gaskets! Has anyone any experience of this? Any solutions?
