The hare feels the dagger graze across his shoulderblade and immediately jumps back to stay clear for a fresh attack. The motion of his twin blades come at her left paw, still lowered from bringing the dagger down at his back, and she clears with two long red scratches down the arm. She comes to a crouch once more, the longer curved blade held in her right paw, the dagger in her left. The hare flattens her ears at the blood trickling from the arm scratches, but her eyes never lose their cold focus. She lunges, feinting a diagonal slash from upper right to lower left (from my point of view) with her right paw, then suddenly spinning to her right side, slamming the dagger at the fox's side.

Warily he begins to circle slowly to his left, daggers held tightly in his paws. Even as he rushes inward for the attack, she brings her curved blade forward to counter his daggers. Only at the last moment, as he leaps to strike with his footclaws, that she realizes his intention.
