*nods to Skarflor then slinks silently into the trees. Having spotted the victim, a magpie in her nest, she stands still , watching to see if the bird's state of consciousness - sleeping or awake. Seeing the magpie blink, the weasel figures the victim is awake, and steps directly below the tree's branches so she is not seen. Her gray fur only shines silver when the sun is directly on it, so the shade helps prevent this. Her fur is simply gray now, helping to blend in with the bark of the tree. As quietly as possible she fits an arrow to her bow (she usually uses her dagger, but the bow is easier on this occasion). She stops suddenly as the bird cocks its head and looks around. When the magpie calms down and settles into her nest again, the weasel crouches and slinks forward so she is below the bird but at a slight angle. Her position is in the shadow of the tree, further helping to hide her existence. She draws the bowstring back, sighting along the arrow. She opens her claws and the arrow flies upward. As it travels up it gets slower, and is halted. But not before the magpie is impaled through her throat. The weasel smiles grimly then steps back out of the woods.
