As you say it would be nice if they put all their effort into real alternatives. Not all appreciate the natural beauty of our mountains and valleys as you or I do. I very much doubt that Nemesis even lives here so it is not his argument. For him as is this particular thread is " Scare them to death and they'll buy anything". Our loss is no matter to him and to so many that are so misguided to think that way,and do live here.

    - "As I have already quoted there are no valid arguments against them" - YOUR opinion but not true Nemesis (why not put your real name by the way?). They are uneconomic as they only work when the wind is of a certain speed (not too low and not too high), kill birds, generate noise and light interference, in many cases have to be tapped into the main grid by pylons which causes more problems and are aesthetically destructive.
