I started my new long-term temp assignment today. And it is such a relief to be in this new environment. The place I was working at before was toxic - I kept being sprayed with venom. Sometimes it was directed at me, and sometimes I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, but I knew I had to get out when I was spending most of my waking time fuming about it.
So I say to you all: remove yourselves from toxic situations and toxic people. It is not your responsibility to make it better. It is your responsibility to assess what it takes to make YOUR life and the lives of those you love work, and then create that in your life.
