I think they'd probably like well-spoken folks like us, even if we aren't as hip to the business as some of them are. However, having spoken up, there, and lurked aplenty, some are not so far advanced in the business as you might guess.
Sure, some are working on national TV, but not all by far, and the ones who are have not necessarilly been doing it any longer than any of us.

I heard enough about that job to know, now, no matter what my bonus looks like (in a few days), not to go to work for Mark. Sorry to have referred him. He seemed O.K. I was really considering the job, even then.

Months ago, when I thought my boss would give me a Xmas bonus, I was still trying. When that amounted to $300, I gave up, ceased to care.

I may follow you into (or, more accurately, back into) temp work.

I'm glad the current gig looks O.K.
