Subject: Hey everyone! Tell me what YOU'RE up to lately!

Get this! I now have a new (used) car! Woo Hoo! I went into the bank that holds the loan on my junker car and asked them what I should do. Well, one thing led to another and I ended up speaking with the bank manager and he told me to head over to this used car company he does a lot of business with and that he will ask them to help me out...even with my crummy credit history. Well, doubtful me, I went over there not expecting anything to happen and I ended up trading them my no-engine-having-piece-of-dooky and I am now driving a '97 Chevy Cavalier that's in pristine condition! SO! The reason I'm so incredibly happy about this is that it won't delay my move to LA in the next few weeks! Talk about a weight lifting from my shoulders!!!! Oh, happy day. :-)

Let's see what else...

Been working with my acting class scene partner to get ready for performance mode this weekend and next. Had to get fitted for 18th century costumes...corset and all...ugh! It's fun wearing these incredibly flowing costumes though. We're doing a scene from Dangerous Liaisons. Some local agents are invited. Here's hoping that we do some great work in front of them.

Recently received a copy of my work for that industrial voice-over. Not bad. I'm very picky and think I could have done a lot better though. Well, as long as they're happy with it!

Been working all the contacts I know in the L.A. area. (Hey, Barry, how ya doin'???) Letting them know I'm coming and that I hope to hook up with them soon, etc.

Still counting the days before I quit this job!

Oh, and trying to work my way into convincing the advertising people a Dryel (you know, the new at-home dry cleaning kit people) to hire me for one of their commercials since I like their product so much. Fat chance but I've chatted with some really great people over there.

That's all for now...just trying to stay busy...and wishing that certain planted seeds would grow something...you never know...
