definitely keep her in something thru the summer. Might make that transition a little bit easier in the fall. Doesn't have to be full time, tho. Truthfully, I think that most Kinder teachers are very used to handling all kinds of emotions from their students. If you think about it, they're the only teachers who get a tremendously diverse group of kids re: school experience each yr. Kids enter their classrooms from never being away from their parents to being in full time day care & preschool. If she has a good teacher, he or she should be able to help you with the transition.
