Subject: Hmm, how did the dog get blue circles around her eyes -- ask Patrick (m)

Yesterday, he's standing on the back porch saying "pain dog, pain dog, blue, blue". I'm like, yeah, whatever, go play. Then -- Ding! Lightbulb! *&$^#@* It dawned on me what he was saying -I painted the dog blue. Ugh! I didn't know it but there was enough paint leftover in the egg carton from the prior day's craft project for a little bonus project. And the only thing left out was an old typewriter eraser -- you remember with the eraser shaped like a pencil and a small brush on the end. My little Picasso painted circles around poor Grace's eyes. Ugh! I can't believe the dog let him do it. I guess we taught her too well not to be agressive with the kids when they are over the line. I told Pat that next time Grace should bite him in her own defense. Of course, this was just before we were going to head to church on time so I grabbed some shampoo and the hose and washed the poor dog's face. I think she'd have rather stayed blue. Maybe tomorrow he can paint a red bulls eye around her nubby little tail and I can bathe the rest of her.
