Subject: GRRRR They didn't do an angioplasty; there was no blockage (m)

on DH's arteries. They did an angiogram and then decided there was no blockage of the main arteries which is where they do the angioplasty. So he still has the same problems. And he didn't really need me to come pick him up. When I got there (2 hrs later) he was sitting in a waiting area and had been released. He thought they weren't going to let him out of there without someone to drive him home. But he was fine when I got there. So 2 hours down there, 2 hours back and a lunch stop in-between. And for more fun all the signal lights west of the 405 freeway at Wilshire were out. Oh what fun! I don't envy those traffic cops trying to direct traffic.

Now he doesn't know exactly what they will do next. The doc thinks it could be blockage in the small arteries and capillaries which they can't do a roto-rooter thing. Supposedly that can be taken care of with medication. So for now he has to stay on the blood thinners and meds to lower his heart rate which makes him have no energy. One thing I know is really bugging him is that when guys don't have much blood pressure they don't have any fun in the bedroom. He's made a couple of comments about "other areas" of his life that are stopping and making him very unhappy.

Very frustrating. I so don't miss that traffic. Gotta take a shower and pick up the kidlets.
