Hi, I've been on Gabapentin for the past 4 years, but I take 3200mg. daily. Through research, my doctor and I have come to realize that this is the dose needed for chronic pain. However, if you have a bulging disc and it's pressing on a nerve, you need surgery. See a Neurosurgeon and make certain more damage isn't done by leaving it this way.
