Lies??? The Obama admistration told the same lie about the embassy attack in Bengazi way more than 27 times. This proves that their statagy is to tell the same lie over and over until people beleive it. Those lies did not work in the debate. Thank God the truth has come out.

After the debate Obama's only rebuttal was to to say Romney lied. Again, Obsma's only defense was to repeat a lie until the masses beleive it. This proves several things.

First, that the most proficent liar is Obama.

Second, he cannot campain on his record unless he lies about it.

Third, that he beleives he can convince the American people of anything by repeating it over and over again.

Obama will even tell you 1000 truths to get you to beleive one lie.

The econmy is worse.
Unemployment is worse.
Our industry is worse.
He pissed away billions with Solyndra and other green initiatives.
GM is once again struggling.
The debt and defecit are ridiculously higher than at anytime in history.
America is becoming a third world power.

If this is the Hope and Change you voted for in 2008, then be my guest and define insanity by doing the same in November, but be sure to vote on November 7th because the sane rational people will be voting on the 6th.

NEW YORK (The Borowitz Report)—Taking a victory lap after their candidate’s win in the first Presidential debate Wednesday night, Romney campaign insiders today attributed his success to his strategic use of relentless lying.

“We worked for hours on this during the practice debates,” said the campaign manager Matt Rhoades. “We were, like, ‘Mitt, if you find yourself on the verge of saying something true, bite your tongue.’ ”

Mr. Rhoades said that the nominee was allowed to say his real name and acknowledge that he used to be a Governor, “but other than that, he was on a very short leash, truth-wise.”

While Mr. Romney’s talent for lying was in evidence during the Republican primary debates, it was nothing like the “mad skills” he displayed Wednesday night, the campaign manager said.

“All the hard work and practice lying really paid off,” Mr. Rhoades said. “Plus hanging out with Paul Ryan.”

By now everyone must have seen that video of Romney telling his supporters that he doesn't care about 47% of Americans when he didn't realize he was being recorded. Even before that video it was strongly suspect that Mitt Romney felt that way. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and if you weren't then he doesn't care about you.

But then for a candidate for President of the United States to say out loud that he thinks almost half the country are moochers that won't take responsablity for their own lives, ...that, in my book, makes him unfit to serve as president of this great country.

The way he sorted out these 47% was to claim they were all Obama voters that expect the government to take care of them, because they don't make enough money to qualify to pay income taxes. This coming from a guy that absolutely refuses to let the American people see what he paid in income tax over the past ten years... if he paid anything. We already know he likes to keep his money in Swiss bank accounts and in the Cayman Islands... but he is willing to attack the poorest people in America because they don't make enough to pay income taxes. Nice.

This wasn't a gaff or mis-quote or anything taken out of context, he said it and he meant it. He even tried to defend it after the video went public, though since then he has said it was Wrong for him to say that.

He didn't say he didn't still think it, he just said he was wrong to say it out loud were someone might record it. How can anyone that feels that way be put in charge of the country? We are ALL Americans, not just the 53% that make the most money.

On the need for more teachers:

Mitt Romney, 6/8/12: He says we need more firemen, more policemen, more teachers. Did he not get the message of Wisconsin? The American people did. It's time for us to cut back on government.

Mitt Romney, at the debate 10/3/12: The key to great schools? Great teachers. So I reject the idea that I don't believe in great teachers or more teachers.

HOME SALES TAX I thought you might find this interesting, -- maybe even SICKENING! The NationalAssociation of Realtors is all over this and working to get it repealed, --before it takes effect. But, I am very pleased we aren't the only ones who know about this ploy to steal billions from unsuspecting homeowners. How many realtors do you think will vote Democratic in 2012? Did you know that if you sell your house after 2012 you will pay a 3.8% sales tax on it? That's $3,800 on a $100,000 home, etc. When did this happen?It's in the health carebill, -- and it goes into effect in 2013. Why 2013? Could it be so that it doesn’t come to light until after the 2012 elections? So, this is ‘change you can believe in’? Under the new health care bill all real estate transactions will be subject to a 3.8% salestax. If you sell a $400,000 home, there will be a $15,200 tax. This bill is set to screw the retiring generation, -- who often downsize their homes. Does this make your November, 2012 vote more important? Oh, you weren't aware that this was in the Obama Health Care bill? Guess what; you aren't alone! There are more than a few members of Congress that weren't aware of it either. Suppose that every day, ten men go out for a beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100.
If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this:

The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
The fifth would pay $1.00
The sixth would pay $3.00
The seventh would pay $7.00
The eighth would pay $12.00
The ninth would pay $18.00
The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.00

So that’s what they decided to do. The men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve.

“Since you are all such good customers, he said, I’m going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by $20.00.
“Drinks for the ten men now cost just $80.00

The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes so the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free. But what about the other six men – the paying customers? How could they divide the $ 20 windfall so that everyone would get their “fair share?” They realized that $ 20.00 divided by six is $3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody’s share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer. So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man’s bill by roughly the same amount, and he proceeded to work out the amounts each should pay!
And so:

The fifth man like the first four, now paid nothing ( 100% savings).
The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33% savings).
The seventh now pay $5 instead of $7 (28% savings).
The eighth now paid $9 instead of 12 (25% savings).
The ninth now paid 14 instead of 18 (22% savings).
The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% savings).

Each of the six was better off than before! And the first four continued to drink for free. But once outside the restaurant, the men began to compare their savings.

“I only got a dollar out of the $20“ declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth man, “but he got $10!”

“Yeah, that’s right, shouted the seventh man. “why should he get $10 back when I got only two? The wealthy get all the breaks!”
“Wait a minute,” yelled the first four men in union. “ We didn’t get anything at all. The system exploits the poor!”

The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up.

The next night the tenth man didn’t show up for drinks, so the nine sat down and had beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn’t have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill!

And that, boys and girls, journalists and college professors, is how our tax system works. The people who pay the highest taxes get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. In fact, they might start drinking overseas where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier.

For those who understand, no explanation is needed.

Union Worker

wo guys and a teamster worker were fishing on a lake one day, when Jesus walked across the water and joined them in the boat. When the three astonished men had settled down enough to speak, the first guy asked humbly, "Jesus, I've suffered from back pain ever since I took shrapnel in the Vietnam war...could you help me?"

"Of course, my son", Jesus said, and when he touched the man's back, he felt relief for the first time in years.

The second man, who wore very thick glasses and had a hard time reading and driving, asked if Jesus could do anything about his eyesight.

Jesus smiled, removed the man's glasses and tossed them in the lake. When they hit the water, the man's eyes cleared and he could see everything distinctly.

When Jesus turned to heal the teamster worker, the guy put his hands up and cried defensively, "Don't touch me! I'm on long term disability."

Gore wouldn't have ignored all the CIA warnings in the six months before the 9/11 attacks. Gore wouldn't have run off and attacked a totally different country than attacked us, getting more Americans killed than died on 9/11 and wasting trillions on a war that he and Cheney were planning even before 9/11.

Gore wouldn't have cut the American economy's throat by giving out huge tax cuts to the richest of the rich.

Gore wouldn't have deregulated the banks and Wall St then go on TV hawking how he wants "...America to be an 'Ownership' society." ...so all you poor people run out and buy houses! He was basically doing an advertisement for the banking scheme that killed the housing market.

WASHINGTON -- Mitt Romney has a new high-risk target in his campaign for president: labor unions.
He's casting himself as one of the strongest anti-union candidates in memory, a move he hopes will appeal to anti-union conservatives, open rival Rick Santorum to charges of a pro-union voting record, win the pivotal Michigan primary on Feb. 28 and cement his now shaky grasp on the Republican nomination.
Yet should it work, the union-bashing campaign offers uncertain prospects in a general election campaign, particularly in the unionized, industrial Rust Belt. States there such as Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin will be key battlegrounds. A changing political and economic landscape there makes it impossible to predict how voters would react.
"Among Republicans, it plays fine," said Republican pollster Whit Ayres. "Down the road, there may be some issues."
Campaigning in Michigan, Romney is striking a far different note on organized labor than his late father did when he chaired American Motors from 1954-1962 and enjoyed good relations with unions. Instead, Mitt Romney is ripping labor unions at every turn.
"Once upon a time, labor unions fought to secure important protections for American workers and help our economy grow," Romney's campaign said last week. "Unfortunately, today they too often stand as obstacles to growth and fight against the workers they are supposed to serve."
He's slamming the federal bailout of Chrysler and General Motors, calling it a corrupt bargain between Democrats and the United Auto Workers that gave the union more control in exchange for campaign donations.
"I call it crony capitalism," Romney said last week. "I've taken on union bosses before. I'm happy to take them on again because I happen to believe that you can protect the interests of the American taxpayers and you can protect a great industry like automobiles without having to give in to the UAW, and I sure won't."
Romney's also ripping Santorum for siding with unions while he was a congressman and senator from Pennsylvania, calling him "big labor's favorite senator."
Romney complains that Santorum voted against a right-to-work proposal that would have stopped the mandatory payment of union dues; voted to maintain the Davis-Bacon Act requiring the federal government to pay workers higher construction wages; and voted for a bill to prohibit businesses from hiring permanent replacements for striking workers.
The former governor of Massachusetts also vows a robust anti-union agenda if elected president, including:
--Supporting states pursuing right-to-work laws;
--Amending the National Labor Relations Act to guarantee secret ballots in union elections, which unions oppose;
--Prohibiting unions from using dues automatically deducted from paychecks for politics;
--Reversing an executive order from President Barack Obama requiring government agencies to use union labor on some projects.
By itself, attacking the auto companies' bailout in the home of Chrysler and General Motors is not as risky as it might first appear. While voters from union households made up a third of the Michigan general election vote in 2008, they are mostly Democrats. They went for Barack Obama 67 percent to 32 percent over Republican John McCain in 2008, helping lock up the state and its 17 Electoral College votes for Obama.
Union members went for Obama 71 percent to 27 percent.
"Labor unions are not popular among likely Republican primary voters," said Steve Mitchell, a Republican pollster in the state. "Attacking labor unions in Michigan is not a bad strategy."
Romney's push for right-to-work laws in states also might not be as controversial as it once might have been.
In Michigan, Republican business executive Rick Snyder avoided divisive labor issues when he ran for governor in 2010, telling voters he would not push for a right-to-work law. He won, and now backs Romney.
Indiana this month became the first state in the industrial Midwest to enact a right-to-work law that forbids requiring workers to join a union.
In neighboring Ohio, voters support enacting a right-to-work law by a margin of 54 percent to 40 percent, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released this week. In Ohio, Democrats still oppose right-to-work by 61 percent to 31 percent, but independents support the idea 55 percent to 39 percent and Republicans support it 77 percent to 20 percent.
Still, a strong campaign against unions likely would not sell as well in a general election as in Republican primaries.
While Americans generally think less of unions than in decades past, they still have a generally favorable opinion. The Gallup Poll found in August that 52 percent of Americans approved of labor unions and 42 percent disapproved. That slender majority was down from 60 percent at the same point in 2001, and down sharply from 72 percent in 1936, during the Great Depression.
"The general election is a bigger question," said Peter Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute. "Some of those swing voters you want are union members, the people we used to call Reagan Democrats. They may be torn."

Iowa's Republican Sec.of State just declared an Emergency that means he has to purge voters from the voting rolls NOW, less than 60 days before the election.

In Ohio a federal judge has ordered the state to have the same voting hours in Democrat leaning counties as they do in Republican leaning counties. The Ohio Sec. of State said he plans to ignore that ruling.

Texas new Voter ID laws say you can use a gun license as a valid ID to vote, but not a college student ID.

Florida has loaded up it's ballot with the full text of seven amendments to the state constitution, it is 10 pages long. They also cut voting hours. Hope granny can get through those 10 pages quick so everyone has time to vote.

Also in Florida, earlier this year, a teacher was arrested for getting students to register to vote, by doing so, which was something she did every year, she was breaking new Florida voter registration laws.

Just look how well those new laws are working!
2004 - 158,957 voters registered
2008 - 259,894 voters registered
2012 - 11,365 voters registered

In the last presidential election, the press hoodwinked Americans into thinking Barack Obama was the messiah.

The press never reported that Obama had no significant achievements. As a community organizer, his only success was removing some of the asbestos from one Chicago apartment project.

In a revealing passage in his memoir, Obama wrote, “When classmates in college asked me just what it was that a community organizer did, I couldn’t answer them directly.”

Instead, he said, “I’d pronounce on the need for change. Change in the White House, where Reagan and his minions were carrying on their dirty deeds. Change in the Congress, compliant and corrupt. Change in the mood of the country, manic and self-absorbed. Change won’t come from the top, I would say. Change will come from a mobilized grass roots.”

Thus, Obama admitted that he accomplished little but was able to cover that up with diversionary talk about change.

Nor did the press report until it was too late that Obama had spent 20 years listening to the anti-white, anti-America, anti-Israel hate speech of his friend and mentor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Jr. Despite the press’ cover-up, if the financial crisis had not hit a few weeks before the election, John McCain likely would have won.

In this election, the press is still boosting President Obama, but it can’t hide the economic statistics that demonstrate Obama’s failure as president. Polls show the public understands that failure. Two-thirds of Americans think the country is on the wrong track.

Just my 2 bits on 32...

Corporations don’t use payroll deductions for political purpose. That’s like saying, “we’re going to crack down on counterfeiting by collecting all the 3 dollar bills printed.” Sounds good however, counterfeiters don’t print 3 dollar bills.
It doesn’t stop any corporation from using unlimited profits to contribute to state or local campaigns. And the Supreme Court already confirmed that Corporations have the same rights as individuals and therefore, can contribute unlimited funds to any campaign.
Labor rights aren’t etched in stone. They were won through politics and collective bargaining. So if you’re the 99% that have to work for a living say, “good bye” to, vacation leave, health insurance, 8 hour work day, minimum wage, work place health and safety laws, overtime pay, unemployment, child labor laws, meal breaks, nurse patient ratios just to name a few.

Proposition 32, on the November ballot, is nothing but an attack by Republicans and conservatives on unions and their members.

It was Lyndon Johnson who best understood that the key to political empowerment for the disenfranchised was to give them access to the electoral process. That's why he made passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 his top priority.

But it's doubtful he would think too kindly of a measure we might call the Rich Persons and Corporations Empowerment Act of 2012. During this election season, Californians undoubtedly will be hearing about it on TV and radio until their eardrums bleed. That's because it will be on the November ballot as Proposition 32, a wolf in sheep's clothing dressed up as the "Stop Special Interest Money Now Act."

In this state, we've come to expect ballot initiatives sponsored by business interests to be, essentially, frauds. But it's hard to conceive how one could be more fraudulent than Proposition 32. If there was any doubt left that the initiative process has been totally corrupted by big business and the wealthy, this should put it to rest for all time.

Proposition 32 is nothing but an attack by Republicans and conservatives on unions and their members. Two previous attempts by the same gang failed at the ballot box, in 1998 and 2005. What's new about this effort is that it's dressed up as a broad reform aimed at "special interests," and it's even more union-unfriendly than its predecessors.

We'll start by examining what Proposition 32 purports to do.

On the grounds that "special interests have too much power over government," the measure bans direct contributions to California candidates by corporations and labor unions. It prohibits the collection of "political funds" from corporate employees and union members via payroll deduction, even if the employee or member voluntarily approves. (That's more stringent than the previous versions, which merely required that union members give written permission for political expenditures once a year.) Political funds include money spent for or against a candidate or ballot measure or for a party or political action committee, or PAC.

Sounds pretty good so far, doesn't it? "It looks temptingly like reform," says Trudy Schafer, program director for the League of Women Voters of California. "But it's not."

That's because Proposition 32 bristles with enormous loopholes tailor-made for businesses and their wealthy backers. To begin with, it exempts such common business structures as LLCs, partnerships and real estate trusts. If you're a venture investor, land developer or law firm, Proposition 32 doesn't lay a finger on you.

The drafters, who include conservative attorneys Thomas Hiltachk and Michael Capaldi, know full well that payroll deductions are how unions get almost all of their funds, and businesses get almost none of theirs.

The infusion of big money into politics has become a more important issue since the Supreme Court's infamous 2010 Citizens United decision awarding free speech rights to corporations, as though they are people. The decision liberated corporations to contribute to electoral campaigns virtually without limitation. That has turbocharged fundraising by so-called super PACs such as Karl Rove's conservative American Crossroads, the Mitt Romney-supporting Restore Our Future, and the President Obama-supporting Priorities USA.

The Proposition 32 campaign says the measure is carefully crafted to comply with Citizens United, but if that's so, it's just another sign of how flawed and deplorable the Supreme Court ruling was. At the moment, according to the nonprofit Center for Responsive Politics, business outspends organized labor 15 to 1.

Paul Ryan a Bold VP Choice but Romney/Ryan Plan Will Hammer the Middle Class -- No name, 08/13/12 10:47pm

Republican candidate Mitt Romney made a bold choice in picking Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) to be his VP candidate.
According to the New York Times, based on his Congressional voting record, Ryan is one of the most extreme VP candidates in the past century, on either side of the aisle. The standard political strategy is for the VP candidate to be closer to the center, but the Romney campaign is betting that energizing the right-wing "base" of the party will help the ticket win in November.
Bold choices are also risky choices, however, and Romney-Ryan's views on how the country should deal with its budget deficit may alienate many Americans, especially those in the middle class.
Before diving into the details, it's important to note that Paul Ryan deserves credit for publishing a specific deficit reduction proposal. Unlike other Congress-folk, who eagerly condemn America's budget mess but offer no specific solutions for it, Ryan was brave enough to actually publish a plan.
Ryan's basic premise in his budget proposal is right: The country's current fiscal path is unsustainable and if we do nothing, we're screwed. You can disagree with Ryan's future assumptions and how he proposes to solve the problem (many Americans will very much disagree), but at least he's acknowledging the problem and offering a solution. The Democrats, meanwhile, and even Mitt Romney, just keep making vague references to the need for deficit reduction.
It's time both sides acknowledge the fiscal crisis, publish their respective proposals and start making hard choices. Ryan deserves credit for sticking his neck out.
So what will the Romney-Ryan plan mean for average Americans?
The pair have not released a unified economic proposal, but combining the details of their prospective plans gives us a general picture.
The Romney-Ryan economic plan will likely:
Cut income and corporate taxes
Eliminate at least some tax deductions (neither candidate has mentioned specific ones)
Preserve defense spending
Cut Medicare spending
Trim other government spending
Gradually shrink the budget deficit but not balance the budget for a least a decade
At a more detailed level, the Romney-Ryan plan will likely lead to the highest-income Americans paying less in taxes, while making lower- and middle-income Americans pay more (through elimination of tax deductions that disproportionately help these Americans). Earlier this year, the Tax Policy Center found that Romney's tax plan would reduce effective tax rates for the the richest Americans and raise them for the poorest.
The Romney-Ryan plan will also likely cut Medicare benefits, which disproportionately help lower- and middle-class Americans. According to a Congressional Budget Office analysis of Ryan's proposal, the Medicare reform could lead to higher out-of-pocket healthcare costs for seniors, reduced access to care, reduced quality of care, increased efficiency and less investment in higher-cost procedures.
There is no question that the country's current budget deficit and spending trajectory is unsustainable, and Romney and Ryan deserve credit for acknowledging this and putting forth specific proposals to deal with it. The Democrats should now do the same thing. And then an open debate can begin about which hard choices the country wants to make.

It should probably come as no surprise to anyone that someone like Paul Ryan would trade on inside information gained through his position as a congressman to line his pockets, but this particular instance is especially egregious.

Ryan attended a closed meeting with congressional leaders, Bush's Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke on September 18, 2008. The purpose of the meeting was to disclose the coming economic meltdown and beg Congress to pass legislation to help collapsing banks.

Instead of doing anything to help, Ryan left the meeting and on that very same day Paul Ryan sold shares of stock he owned in several troubled banks and reinvested the proceeds in Goldman Sachs, a bank that the meeting had disclosed was not in trouble.

This is the guy Republicans want one heartbeat away from the presidency? He seems more than a little shady to me but very typical of those Tea Party Republicans!

It should be noted that the Republican controlled House has passed 30 "Jobs" bills that the Democrat controlled Senate refused to vote on.

It should also be noted that the Republican "Jobs" bills all have provisions to ban abortion. Obama's jobs bill is just about getting Americans jobs.

Dennis Hof, owner of the Moonlite Bunny Ranch brothel near Carson City, says business has boomed even during the recession, thanks in part to publicity from an HBO series about the enterprise.

Keen on politics, Hof has surveyed his customers. He says 60 percent are Democrat, 40 percent Republican, "but the Republicans spend more."

This year, he's leaning toward Romney for his business background.

"I like the fact that this guy has looked at budgets, made hard cuts," Hof said. "Obama doesn't have a clue about business — he wouldn't know how to run the Bunny Ranch. Romney would."
