  I have been searching forever for information on Phylis' Dance STudio. Trying to find out hwo she and all the other teachers are doing now. I heard Paige opened a dance studio years ago in NJ. I miss the place so much! Those were the best days of my life. From the time I was about 4 until 12. I attended class with my best friend (who after 20 years is STILL my best friend) Shayna Macklin.   Dancing school is one of my fondest memories... I danced with Miss Phyllis from age 4-24, with a few years off in between. You might remember me as the curly haired red-head who like to talk. Recitals were great -pressure and all.....I danced with Esther,Debbie,Jen. D.,Liz,Wendy,Merav...what great times we had.Never forget

  wow mrs phyllis was the greatest dance teacher that ever was.she gave dance recital after recital and rehearsal after rehearsal.she put her heart into this.i was going to phyllis dance studio for 12yrs.now because of her im still dancing not on the streets but in the my house and well sometimes infront of people.she may have yelled at us,thats because so we can get the steps right,meaning practice makes perfect,i will always remember you phyllis you have made me for who i am today.also i had jamie she was good but nobody beats phyllis.if your still out there i would like to hear form you,thanks for a good dance.

  Phyllis - I was with you for over 15 years working backstage at all of your recitals. The memories of long rehearsals and outstanding performances are remembered for a long long time. One can never forget the marathons that you ran! A typical weekend during recital was Rehearsal 1, Rehearsal 2 and Show 1 on Saturday. Rehearsal 3, Show 2 and Show 3 on Sunday and the following week would be Rehearsal 4 and Show 4 on Saturday. Of course we can always predict the weather for recital weeks - any temperature over 90 degrees was pretty much a guarantee. Despite it all, I was there with you and for you. You were always a great friend and I am grateful for all the years we spent together with your recitals and our times together with LARCS. Hope your retirement is enjoyable. Much love.   I ATTENDED MS. Phyllis Dance Studio for many years from 3-14. I am now 21, and living in Staten Island.. I tried to take lessons when i was younger but no1 could ever replace my love for dancing the way Ms. Phyllis had. She had given us the love and the desire to do what we loved to do. I spent many great years there. I danced on Mon and Fri. mY daNCEMATES WERE lisa Green baum, Diana Rosenbush, Rina Esterov, Danielle Cooperstein. We owe it to Ms. Phyllis, hope all is well!
