Subject: Couple of questions for our !:18th scale experts out there.

My son sort of lost interest in 1:18th scale figures and vehicles for a while, but regained interest again a few years ago. I guess I then lost track of what was coming out during the height of their popularity. First, did any of the manufacturers make a cast hull M4A1 Sherman? The TUS M4A1 is the welded hull variant. Also, did anybody make a late model Sherman such as the M4A3E6 or M4A3E8 with the HVSS suspension and wider track? BBi's Forces of Valor is currently releasing an M4A3, but an early version still with the VVSS suspension. Mainly just curious right now.

- I was too quick to correct myself after seeing something on Google this morning that called the TUS Sherman an M4A3. It is a welded hull M4A1. As far as I know, TUS made only the one version of the Sherman in 1:18 scale. They made a few versions in their 1:32 scale line, including a Firefly. Don't know what types of suspensions they did though. (NT) -- Sgt. Horvath 1, 10:41:50 10/21/09 Wed
- Like I said, I missed out when a bunch of this stuff came out by either 21st, BBi, or DML. My son now has 2 of the 21st Shermans. I thought it would be a hoot to bash an M4A3 with a cast hull M4A1 with a little scratch building and make my son an M51 Isherman. (NT) -- Rich, 15:06:34 10/21/09 Wed
