I usually post photos at 640-700 pixels wide so anything that size or greater(I can resize them down to what I need if they are larger no problem) is good to go.
There really is no limit to how many you can send per submission but I usually post no more than 20 to 30 photos a day. So if a single email photo submission is larger than that I will usually break it up into 2 sets posted on different days. Of course if it takes a thousand photos to tell your story then that is more than fine, just break up each submission into 20 or 30 photos each more or less.

Include your name or codename you want posted with your photos and the title of your photo story/submission.
Number your photos in the order you want them to appear on a page. I'm not good at guessing :)
I don't know if you plan to put any text right into the photos like some do but if you plan on me putting it under each photo for you then be sure to send the text along with the text numbered to correspond with the photos. For instance:
Photo1-"Hey Sarge"
Photo2-"What Private?"
and so on :)
