Subject: Site Update!

Ok troops, time for the last site update of the week and we'll be ending it with another of our continuing photo story episodes. So let's get right to it!

Wrapping up another cool week of site updates for us is our old friend Hogie309 with the next installment of his WWII Town of Marwencol saga, continued from photo set 3896. In this episode, he does a little ode to his favorite scene from the movie "The Longest Day", the one with the British beach master and his curly big stick. As always, more awesome photos here from Hogie and a great new Marwencol episode. So if you've been waiting for the next installment like I have, then definitely don't miss this new one. One of my all time favorite movies since my parents took me to it from the opening week. Good to see Scott Merry with the miracle wielding Shaleighleigh! About half of that movie is just pure Hollywwod, but for the time it was the most accurate depiction of combat shown to the American public. The info about the poem that signalled invasion in 24 hrs? That was retrieved by a soldier who shot a carrier pidgeon on the Normandy coastline.
