Subject: Appelbe's from Pittsburgh,PA.USA ARO/US75

James Appelbe and his wife Ellen (Keylay)? Came from NY between the years of 1816 & 1823 to Pittsburgh PA. Their children John b.NY,Louisa b. NY,Ellen whom I suppose died at child birth.Eliza,Thomas and James. James my link had a
glass manufacturing bus. with brother Thomas called Appelbe
&Hale Flint & Chemical Glass corner of Front and Ross St.
Pittsburgh PA. James had some musical talent, because he
was asked to organize and run a concert for the Orphans of
The Catholic Dioceses of Pittsburgh whom were living in
deplorable conditions. Also I would think he and his bro.
Tom would have learned some knowledge of the glass manufacturing posibly in NY. I family search I found James Appleby&Ellen Keylay their daughters christning 1 Sept.1816 Fishkill,Dutchess, NewYork pretty hard not to be family.
