Subject: Best Abertillery Team

I've been speaking to Bill Gore who is from Blaina and played for Wales & Newbridge in the 1940s. He tells me that the best rugby player ever produced by Gwent - even better than David Watkins - was Ray Price an Abertillery fly-half who went north in 1947/48. Must have been some player!
