Miss universe is not only about beauty it's about brains and goals and wanting to use your winning as a platform to pursue your dreams and those of mankind....to voice one's opinins on topical issuse.........AND THAT'S WHAT INDIA WILL DO....like all other, Sushmita, Lara, Priyanka, Aishwaryia, Diana, Yukta, Diya etc. They really were good will ambasadors and plus Amrita is beautiful. But it was nowhere to be found, it's because the pageant is postponed! Live telecast will be tomorrow 8AM to 10AM (Thailand time). For me, there are lots of deserving ladies to win the crown but this year will be a very tough competition! Date Posted: 03:53:17 05/29/05 Sun Another scandal alarmed the Miss Universe Organization as the organizers received tips from their staff of the alleged leakage of the result of the Top 15. The organizers had an emergency meeting to discuss the matter. According to the report, a photocopy of the official result of the Top 15 of the Miss Universe with the signature of Adam Carlson, the Head Tabulator and Result Verifier was found to be in possession of one the computer staff being reproduced and was given to the Production Assistant assigned to a certain delegate. The attention of Carlson was called by the organizers to explain the matter. The Miss Universe Organization has released a statement that "the credibility of the result shall never be tainted with fraud and the pageant's top 15 shall still be announced per result." When asked by the press as to the authenticity of the photocopied result, the Miss Universe press speaker said, "whether or not such document was genuine, the officiail result shall be announced on the pageant date, and that is on May 31." Antigua & Barbuda- Usually Trinidad & Tobago would have this spot, but Shermain's lovely gown, amazing body and attitude make her one of the top girls in the pageant. Brazil- Carina has an amazing figure and model's attitude which should propel her into the semis. Canada- She backs up the hype. Natalie could be Oxana's sister and her light green eyes can be seen a mile away. She'll go far. Chile- A magnificent walk and a natural look (unusal for latinas) are Renata's strongest virtues. Also, a charming interview. Colombia- I must admit that hype has played a part in this choice. Although Adriana's not my favorite candidate, she definitely has the body to make the cut. Dominican Republic- Height, a lovely face and quick, sharp answers are Renata's greatest assets. Ethiopia- In my opinion the prettiest African girl. Atetegeb's long, slender legs will walk straight into the top 15. India- This was a tough one, but I think Amrita has the composure and presence enough to overcome her less-than-stellar figure. Japan- Yukari's boyish stick-figure is certainly not a pageant-patty one, but her edginess and flair are too interesting to pass up. Latvia- Slavic blondes have a strong track record with Trump and Ieva's sex-kitten smile will light up Thailand tomorrow night. Norway- European exotics have been a strong Miss Universe trend for the last decade and half-Thai Helene has the ethnicity factor squarely in her court. Thailand- Home country advantage and being the best of the Asian women carry Chananporn on her quest for the crown. South Africa- A mature beauty with a confident air, Claudia is a capable of making it to the end. U.S.A- Chelsea isn't Shandi, but she doesn't deserve all the negative publicity coming her way. She's a solid candidate who looks better on camera than in photographs. Venezuela- I have a softspot for raven-haired latinas and Monica's baby-doll beauty will return her country to its legacy. close misses: Peru- Debora undoubtedly has a great body, but I prefer Chile's natural beauty for the 6th latin spot. Puerto Rico- While many have raved over Cynthia's figure, her cut-and-sown features are too mass produced for my taste. |

She is actually quite UGLY without her blue contact lenses, her natural hair (naturally very curly) and her CROOKED TEETH!!! She has also lied in regards her Height!! Which I am glad everyone will see and is flat chested until just recently. |

Date Posted: 15:24:11 05/28/05 Sat Don't get me wrong. I simply adore Miss Latvia and want her to be in the top 15, but I am extremely baffled with her height. During the swimsuit competition Miss Latvia (5'9") seems to have the same height as Miss Malaysia (5'7") and in any picture wherein they wore dresses , she stood next to Miss Nambia (5'7") and still had the same height while wearing the same height of heels as the other girl. But wait! It doesn't end there. During the cocktails she stood next to long -legged Miss Ukraine (5'7") while they were by the stairs and looked like she was more than 6" taller! Now when Miss Ukraine stood next to Miss United Kingdom (5'8") and other girls of similar in height, she was the the same height as United Kingdom! Did Miss Latvia stand on the next step that's why she looked taller than Ukraine? Then, again, Latvia stands next to Miss Slovak Republic (5'9") in her BSC swimsuit and looked about 2' taller than Slovak Republic! I saw SlovaK Republic in her solo swimsuit and I don't think she is smaller at the most than 5'7" with those long legs too! I can't believe Miss Latvia stood on a step again to look taller! Can't be! No way! Has anyone seen the lovely Misses Latvia, Ukraine and Slovak Republic near each other or next other candidates WITH THEIR FEET showing bec. their heights really baffle me! I am just curious so please don't get mad. I was wondering if anyone noticed that too. Thank you. |

REPUBLICA DOMINICANA : muy simple, no tiene nada de especial, no me gusta. MEXICO : muy bonita, lindas fotos , pero tambien muy simple, no tiene nada especial y su cuerpo es feo. no me gusta para el top 15 CHILE: Nada que ver,no me gusta ni un poco ,cuerpo feo. NORWAY : linda !!! lindo rostro, linda sonrisa, muy baja pero me gustaria que clasifique JAPAN : no me gusta su cara , pero tiene un look raro y de top model, me gusta como para un top 10. A friend from Venezuela showed me the pagent when she was selected and today this girl you can tell is not the same, neither physically or in term of personality. Total fake, fabricated a scam. You go to their country and they look so ugly, that is scary, so much plastic surgery. Her nose is smaller than her cheeks and her implants bigger than her butts.They hate Donald Trump, because they did not win last year and speak so bad of americans. I can not see her, because it is a waist of time. They even have a judge from Telemundo that is married to a Venezuelan woman and claimed that he is going to rate her higher than the others,, HELLO!!! Dominican Republic: Good looking, not sofisticated, ordinary, tall, but that's it. She tries to imitate the candidate for Puerto Rico, even when she talks, therefore is another fake. Colombia: better than the above candidates. Peru: has something Puerto Rico: I have to say she is the best of the latinas. She has everything to win. I saw the pagent when she was selected and has not change, same sweety, perfect all the time. She has everything, sofisticated, modern, very pretty... She is the Jackie Onasis of the Miss universe pagents. Good luck for her. Hopefully the judges can see that. I have noticed how jelous the people from Venezuela are from puertoricans, that is sad. Anyway she is the best so far. USA: Excellent overall Canada: Pretty eyes, hair and body, but mmmmmmmm???? Antigua: should be there with Puerto Rico and USA South Africa: Is she a mother already? Este año la organizacion Miss Venezuela busco chicas lo mas natural posible, no se niega que de repente a algunas se le han hecho algun tipo de cirujia, pero no es un secreto, aparte que a la gran mayoria de las chicas que estan en el concurso del Miss Universo de este año se nota que le han pasado el bisturí, lo que pasa es que no lo admiten para pasar por naturales y no es verdad, se ve que la de Colombia, Mexico, Canada, Pto. Rico, USA, Peru, etc se han hecho cirugias, entonces porque se buscan criticar a la venezolana cuando no es verdad lo que dicen, de seguro es porque tiene personalidad, carisma y por sobre todo belleza, por lo tanto tiene gran chace de ganarse la corona este año. |
