Date Posted: 19:00:57 04/13/07 Fri Miss Universe 2007 is fast approaching and I really love to see what the outcome would be like? In the 1993 Miss Universe which was held in Mexico as well, Miss USA got booed by the Mexicans due to the fact that their bet were not able to enter the Semi-finals and I guess they blamed her for that or they've just being racist or what? Miss USA was a black contestant at that time...This year USA has another Black (although sort of mixed white & black).In Miss Universe 1993, the Top 3 spot were given exclusively to 3 latinas namely Miss Puerto Rico ( Miss Universe), Miss Colombia ( 1st Runner-Up ) & Miss Venezuela (2nd Runner-up). It has always been that way since the 90's! Over the decades, Miss Universe has been very PREDICTABLE!!! It has been Proven Time and Again that Miss Universe has been a North & Latin American Beauty Contest wherein you could expect delegates from these countries to dominate no matter what. That's probably the Reason why some Countries chose to send their Over-all winners to Miss World and not in Miss Universe? Now, they're sending their Runners-Up to Miss Universe instead! Undoubtedly , TRUST & CONFIDENCE were slowly depleting toward this pageant in recent years... So this in year's Miss Universe, Expect a Latina to win the Crown since it will be held in a Latin American country like Mexico like in 1993..And to make amends from the past.. expect Miss Mexico to be in the Semi-finals (or finals?) this time! We'll based on this Never-ending Trend in Miss Universe here's my Early Prediction (I'm 90% Sure about this) in Miss Universe: Top 10 in Miss Universe 2007: 1. USA 2. CANADA 3. PUERTO RICO 4. VENEZUELA 5. BRAZIL 6. MEXICO 7. COLOMBIA 8. DOMINICAN REP. 9. TRINIDAD & TOBAGO (if they will join this year) 10.JAPAN ( I reserved the last spot for Japan..I guess you already know the reason behind that..) GOOD LUCK!
