There has never been a winner from Sri Lanka to win the MIss Universe Title................................ The only Sri Lankan Contender Ever to have spot in the Miss Universe Pageant was Maureen Inghert..........that was back in 1955.................................. Maureen Inghert, Miss Sri Lanka(Ceylon)1955 2nd Runner up in Miss Universe 1955........... That was 51 years ago...............a very long time! Now it's 2006........................................
