Subject: Remembering Franconia College

My mother, Evelyn Meyers, taught business and shorthand at Franconia College from 1966-1968. When we arrive in Franconia, I was 11 years old. I got my first dog, a Borzoi, from Abram Engelman. I didn't stay with babysitters, I hung out at the college. I remember paper airplane fights in the lounge, watching Batman in a small building behind the main building, the pool in the summer, town meetings, and the snack bar where I worked when I shouldn't have because of my age. Most of all, I remember people I came to love and the best time ever.
